Now, with an eye on the growing number of wind turbines and the bother of hoisting up old Jethro using a rope, the efficiency of using a nimble sharp-eyed drone is obvious. An irrepressible mix of technologies is being furiously integrated (as we speak) within the drone context. Relentless improvements in flight time, precision, miniaturization, autonomous cleverness, and cost will make drones ubiquitous and indispensable to our brave new world.
